In memory of

George Thomas "Tom" Hart

of Brea, California, formerly of Philip, South Dakota, died on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at his home in Brea, California, after battling cancer for more than 22 years at the age of 54

George Thomas “Tom” Hart was born September 29th, 1955, the fourth of six children born to George and Ella (Fitch) Hart. Tom graduated from Philip High School in 1974 and moved to Denver, Colorado for twenty-four years and then to Brea, California, where he has since resided.
Tom was united in marriage to Cindy Graupner and to this union were born two children, George T. “T.J.” Hart III and Katie Hart. Later, Tom was united in marriage to Rita Meyer.
Tom leaves behind his wife Rita (Meyer) Hart of Brea, California; one son TJ Hart and his wife Tamar of Brea; one daughter Katie Hart of West Palm Beach, Florida; one step-son Damien and his wife Brooks of Ladera Ranch, California; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; his father George T. Hart, Sr. and his wife Barbara of Thorton, Colorado; four sisters Linda Kuchenbecker and her husband Keith of Black Hawk, Pam Ingram and her husband Jerry of Philip, Cindy O’Connell and her husband Kent of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, and Susan Heinz and her husband Jack of Philip; one brother Steven Hart and his wife Vickie of Arvada, Colorado; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his mother Ella (Fitch) Hart; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Services will be held March 27th at Memory Garden Memorial Park and Mortuary in Brea, California.
A second memorial service was held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Philip, with Father Tim Hoag as celebrant.
A memorial is established.

For certain is death for the born
And certain is birth for the dead
Therefore over the inevitable
Thou should not grieve.

Memorial services: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Philip, with Father Tim Hoag as celebrant.
