In memory of

Mary Jane Eisenbraun

of Wall, South Dakota, died on Wednesday, July 30, 1997 at her home in Wall at the age of 51

Mary Jane McDonald was born July 26, 1946, at Winner, South Dakota, the daughter of Carl F. and Nadine (Van Voorhis) McDonald.

As a child she moved with her parents to a ranch on Box Elder Creek east of New Underwood, South Dakota.  She grew up on the ranch and graduated from New Underwood High School in 1964.

As a young lady she worked at West River Electric in Wall.

Mary was united in marriage to Larry W. Eisenbraun on May 15, 1966, at Creighton, South Dakota.

They made their home on a farm-ranch northeast of Creighton.  In 1987 they moved into Wall but continued to operate the farm-ranch.  While in Wall, Mary was employed at the Wall Drug Store and later for the Farm Bureau Insurance Company, a position she held until health reasons forced her retirement.

Mary was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Creighton and was a member of the Phoebies Society, the Wall Booster Club, and the Farm Bureau.  She was very active in all her organizations and held various offices in each.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Larry Eisenbraun of Wall; three sons, Scot Eisenbraun and his wife, Melody, of Creighton, Sam Eisenbraun and his wife, Amy, of Paynesville, Minnesota, and Chad Eisenbraun and his special friend, Dana Baxter, of Wall; two grandchildren, Tyrel Eisenbraun and Taran Eisenbraun, both of Creighton; her mother, Nadine McDonald of New Underwood; a sister, Nancy Peterson and her husband, Pete, of New Underwood; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Carl F. McDonald.

A memorial is established to the First Lutheran Church of Wall or the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Creighton; or the Wall Ambulance Department or the Wall Fire Department.
