In memory of

Mae F. Pearson

of Kadoka, South Dakota, died on Monday, September 20, 1993 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City at the age of 76

Mae F. Kukal was born the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Svara) Kukal on May 15, 1917 in the Kadoka area.  She grew up in the Kadoka community and received her education in the Kadoka and Wanblee areas.

Mae was untied in marriage to Warren Pearson on March 17, 1934 at Kadoka, South Dakota.  They made their home in the Kadoka area prior to moving to Iowa where they resided until the mid 1940's when they returned to Kadoka where they have continued to reside.

While in Kadoka Mae worked at various jobs including the H & H El Centro Cafe for over 30 years.  She retired because of health reasons in the late 1980's.  Mae was also a member of the Presbyterian Church of Kadoka.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Warren Pearson of Kadoka; two daughters, Betty Boyer and her husband, Jerry, of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and Peggy Joseph and her husband, Roger, of Hernando Beach, Florida; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; five brothers, George Kukal of Rushville, Nebraska; Ladd Kukal of Longvalley, South Dakota; Oscar Kukal of Walla Walla, Washington; Joe Kukal of Jerome, Idaho; and Robert Kukal of Skull Valley, Arizona; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents.
