Florence G. (Herink) Doughty was born July 14, 1902, at Holand, Minnesota to Joseph and Ethel (Boot) Herink.  As a young girl she moved with her parents to Wall in 1912 where she grew up and received her education at Wall High School.

She was united in marriage to Charles E. Doughty in April of 1923.  They made their home in Wyoming and Colorado until 1955 when they moved back to Wall.

Her husband preceded her in death on January 27, 1974.

In 1987, because of health reasons, she moved to Arvada, Colorado, where she made her home with her daughter, Delsie Wall, and her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Delsie Wall, of Arvada, Colorado; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gladys Smith, and her parents.

A memorial is established.
