Harold A. Kusick

of Belvidere, South Dakota, died on Monday, February 16, 2015 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 60

Harold Allen Kusick was born May 4, 1954, in Murdo, South Dakota, the son of Carl and Betty Jane (Smith) Kusick. He grew up on a farm near Stamford, and attended grade school in Stamford. Later the family moved into Belvidere where he attended Belvidere School. As a young man he worked at a local gas station.

Harold was united in marriage to Teresa Barber and to this union was born two children, twins James and John.

He later married Debbie Hepburn and to this union was born a daughter Jessica. They made their home in Kingman, Arizona and later moved back to Rapid City.

Harold enjoyed watching basketball, was an avid fisherman, and loved playing pool.

Survivors include three sons Travis Ferwerda of Spearfish, John Kusick (Jessica) of Sturgis, and James Kusick of New Castle, Wyoming; one daughter Jessica Moore (Tim) of Mobridge; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; his mother Betty Kusick of Belvidere; one brother Kenneth Kusick (Chris) of Kadoka; two sisters Loretta Schreiber (Lawrence) of Quinn, and Kathy Pillen (Gary) of Hermosa; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Harold was preceded in death by his father Carl, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
