In memory of

Angie Daly Blanusa

of Seattle, Washington, died on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Multicare Good Samaritan Center in Seattle at the age of 57

Angie Lea Daly was born to Mickey and Kathy Daly in Philip, SD on March 3rd, 1964. She was raised in Ottumwa, SD and graduated from Midland High School in 1982. After high school Angie attended Headlines Academy in Rapid City and obtained her degree in cosmetology. During this time she worked for Wall Drug and gave birth to her first born, Alison in 1988. Angie made the difficult, courageous decision to give this daughter up for adoption, a true example of her character. The two were reunited fifteen years ago and have remained close since then. A few years later, Angie moved to Washington state where she met Dan Blanusa. With this union, two children were born, Jack (18) and Danika (16). Angie’s pride and joy were her children and attending their activities. She was an extremely hard worker and when she started a job, she finished it. Angie and Dan owned and operated Pacific Ave. Motors in Tacoma, Washington for many years. Angie worked hard to provide the very best for her children and never missed an opportunity to bargain shop!

Angie is survived by her husband, Dan; her three children, Alison (Josh) Besler, Jack, and Danika; her granddaughter, Vivian Besler, her father Mickey Daly; her step-mom Judy Daly; siblings: Brennan (Vicky) Daly, Stacey Daly, Brady (Radka) Daly, Steve (Julie) Daly, Janet' (John) Abrahamson, and Lynette Clay; nieces, nephews, and a host of close relatives and friends.

Angie was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Daly, her brother Patrick Daly, and her sister in infancy Debra Daly.

Cards and memorials may be sent to P.O. Box 227 Wall, SD 57790.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, at Rush Funeral Home in Philip.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Philip with Father Gary Oreshoski as celebrant assisted by Deacon Lloyd Frein.

Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Philip.

  • Angie and my mom shared the same birthday; and having grown up in the same church and the same small town, we shared a lot of fun memories. Angie was definately one of a kind, and we always enjoyed seeing her when she came back home. Love to the family. Rest in Peace, Angie...see you on the other side. ~ Christina Marie Zuccaro Midland, SD (12/3/2021)
  • To Angie's Family: I met Angie years ago and it was the only time I was ever around her, but that one night I remember how kind, funny, and smart she was. Through the years I listened to stories about her through her sister, Stacey, my best friend I've ever known. Stacey loved Angie so much and always bragged about how smart Angie was and how she loved all 3 of her children. Gone way too soon is a precious woman who will be missed by her family and especially her children. My heart goes out to you Allie, Jack, and Danica. ~ Norma Carson Wall, SD (12/3/2021)
  • Angie will be missed by so many. Special memories with her whenever she would come home to Midland. She always made sure Megan and I had glamorous dress up in as we watched and pretended to be on Miss Teen USA every year. Angie and my Mom, Lisa always had the best times together and I loved listening to her tell stories and she always made me laugh. I enjoyed watching her kiddos one summer when they all stayed in Midland. She introduced me to marathon watching of the 'Desperate Housewives' series. Gone too soon. Love to all of Angie's family. ~ Courtney 'Hunt' McFarland Kemmerer, WY (12/3/2021)
