of Quinn, South Dakota, died on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip at the age of 65
Linda J. Farmer was born April 12, 1950, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Thomas and Bonnie (Rushing) Farmer. She grew up in Ardmore and attended the University of Oklahoma where she studied nursing.
After graduating she worked at the Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. While in San Antonio, she met Marvin Weynand, and they were united in marriage on May 27, 1989. They remained in San Antonio, and Linda continued to work at the Santa Rosa Hospital.
Linda and Marvin moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma, for a couple years to be closer to Linda’s parents. Later they moved to Indiana for three years before moving to Quinn, South Dakota, in 1998 where they have since resided.
Linda enjoyed camping, fishing, making crafts, and watching her son on the race track.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Weynand of Quinn; one son, Earl and his wife Christy Park of Philip; three grandchildren, Dakota Alfrey, Colton Alfrey, and Brittney Park; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
