I am so sorry! I worked with Peg-a-Lee for lots of years, and we had our share of good times. I took her a homemade pint of picked beets one time, and she ate the WHOLE jar. We had quite a few laughs over that. I loved her because she always called me "Lee". (Have always wanted to be called that, dislike Lee Ann). Peg-a-Lee will be missed!

As a veteran, I am writing to offer my condolences to the family of Peggy Drury. In our time of mourning, we can draw comfort from the scriptures. John 5:28, 29 "Do not marvel at this, the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus] voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life," You are in my prayers.

I am smiling as I write at the memories I have of time spent with Peggy while she worked at my mom's store. She brought life to the place and I remember how she always spoke to me like one of the girls, not a kid. What a great attitude she always had. I am thankful for her lifelong friendship with mom and how she always took such a great interest in us kids. Peggy is admired and will be greatly missed. My heartfelt prayers to all her friends and family. Heaven just livened up for sure!
