She came to America from Rotterdam, Holland, in 1906 on the vessel New Amsterdam and landed in New York. The family came west to Kayler, South Dakota, to live with relatives there. Whe she was six years old the family moved to Florida. At age twelve, the family moved back to Avon, South Dakota, later moving to Delmont, South Dakota, where her parents farmed.
She married Alexander Eisenbraun in November 1925 and they moved to Creighton where they were engaged in the farming business.
Alexander died in 1935 and Hattie and her children moved back to Delmont to live with her parents. She later moved to Wall.
In 1938 she was married to John Caylor and the family moved to the Caylor Farm near Norris, South Dakota.
John Caylor died in 1941.
In 1943, Hattie moved to Wanblee and in April 1944 she married Ernest Munger. They farmed and ranched in the Wanblee community.
Ernest died in November, 1967. Hattie continued to live on the farm until 1978 when she moved to Kadoka.
