Linda B. Kittermanof Clark, South Dakota, died on Friday, October 26, 1990

Linda B. Huffman was born July 6, 1902, at Gilead, Nebraska, the daughter of W.A. (Bert) and Valesta (Komrs) Huffman.
In 1910 she moved with her family to a homestead three miles west of Clark. She attended the country school and graduated from Clark High School.
She received her teachers certificate from General Beadle Teachers College in Madison and taught schools in Clark, Pennington, and Edmunds counties.
She married Benjamin Wade Kitterman at Clark, South Dakota, on April 7, 1935, and the couple farmed north of Wall.
Mr. Kitterman died in February of 1943. Following his death, Linda returned to summer school at Northern State in Aberdeen to renew her teaching certificate, and taught in various schools of Clark County until country schools were closed by consolidation. She retired from teaching at that time.
Linda was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and Ladies Fellowship at Clark.
For the past ten years she spent time in nursing homes at Clark, Estelline, and Watertown.
Survivors include a son, Frank and his wife, Patricia, of Watertown; a daughter, Mrs. Arlan (Karen) Koehn and her husband of Brookings; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bessie Berry of Rivera, Arizona, and Frances Huff of Yucca Valley, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, and three infant grandsons.
