Dwayne S. Dale

of Midland, South Dakota, died on Saturday, March 24, 1990
in Rapid City at the age of 60

Dwayne S. Dale was born February 24, 1930, at Midland, South Dakota, to Severt and Gladys Louise (Root) Dale.

He grew up and graduated from Midland High School in 1948.

As a young man he farmed and ranched with his parents near Midland.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, spending 16 months in Korea.

He was united in marriage to Jessica Livermore on August 6, 1955, in Rapid City, South Dakota.  They made their home on their present farm-ranch located northwest of Nowlin, South Dakota, which they operated all their married life.

Dwayne was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post #143, both in Midland.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Jessica, of Midland; one son, Roger Dale of Midland; one daughter, Brenda (Mrs. Clint) Jensen of Ellsworth A.F.B., South Dakota; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua, Amanda, and Jared Jensen, all of Ellsworth A.F.B., South Dakota; two sisters, Dorothy (Mrs. Jack) Spinsby of Midland, and Doris (Mrs. Ambrose) Jenniges of Glenwood, Minnesota; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Dwayne was preceded in death by one daughter, Eileen Kay Dale, on July 28, 1970, and his parents.
