Margaret Calhoon

of Midland, South Dakota, died on Saturday, March 24, 1984
at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City at the age of 63

Margaret Seidler was born December 11, 1920, at Nowlin, South Dakota, a small Haakon county town, to Grover and Lucille Seidler.  She grew up at Nowlin and graduated from Midland High School.

Margaret was united in marriage to Kenneth Calhoon in October 1939.  He died in 1950.

She was united in marriage to Chester Calhoon on June 20, 1951, at Fort Pierre, South Dakota.  They farmed southwest of Midland.

Survivors include her husband, Chester; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph D. (Maxine) Jones of Midland, and Mrs. Larry (Mary) Nemec of Pierre; two sons, Kenneth D. and Chester Bob Calhoon, both of Midland; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Edward and Robert Seidler, both of Midland; two sisters, Vivian Sichterman of Rapid City, and Mrs. Tom (Betty) Stalley of Hayes, South Dakota.

Besides her first husband, Kenneth, she was preceded in death by one daughter.

A memorial has been established.
