I always will remember aunt Bernice, I last saw her in the nusing home when my Grandma Mary Alice was there,  I have many memories of her when I was a kid in Philip.  My prayers are with her entire family.

Bernice had a little mischief in her and a twinkle in her eyes.  she always had a smile and glad to see folks.  She will be greeted the same way when she arrives at her final destination. Our sympathy to the family in your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Berniece was good friends with my Grandma Swift and I remember being over at grandma's and having visits with Berniece. When we were younger she treated us as if we were her own grandchildren always bringing us a little something to make us smile. She was an amazing lady. God Bless!

Words cannot express how much Berniece meant to all us at the nursing home. She is a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed by all. I will never forget the first night I met her I worked the 10pm-6am shift and you never know what will happen at that hour of the night, I went to her room to make sure all the windows were closed and out of the blackness of the night I heard this little voice say "HELLO LADY", here she was wide awake looking into the night. I will miss her smile, her laughs and skipping down the hall to meals, she always had a way of making my day so much better, I will miss her dearly but I know she is in a better place now.. You are all in my thought and prayers

When I heard that Berniece had taken a turn for the worst, I knew that the Lord would soon receive another angel. I've never met another woman quite like Berniece and I doubt I will any time soon. The humor and crazy conversations we would share made my time working at the Nursing Home well worth it. Just when I was getting worn out and tired, she could always find some way to make me laugh and I did my best to do the same. She truly was a remarkable woman and I am very thankful I had the opportunity to get to know her.

My sympathy goes out to all of Berniece's family. Your devotion to her in these last years and especially these last days, shows me how dearly she will be missed by those who knew and loved her best.
God Bless you all,

I am so glad that she is lying in Jesus' arms now.  She sure was one tough lady with a lot of spunk and sparkle.  We will miss her at the nursing home.  Berniece lived life on her terms until the very end.  My condolences to her family and friends.
