Deepest sympathies to all of you. Eddie was a great guy and we enjoyed having him as part of our relation. We are so thankful that he and Maxine had the years they did have together and they enjoyed each other so much. He will be missed by all of us as he will be by all of you and by the whole community there in Philip.
I always think of how protective he was of Maxine, especially when they were first married and when we would try to help her he would always say I can take care of her. She finally said to him one day yes, Eddie honey you can but my relatives need to be able to show their help too and he would smile and say yes they do. We really felt like he was a true member of our relationship and we want to thank all of you for all the love and care you showed our aunt in their time together. She told us over and over how she felt she had three sons and three very nice daughter in laws, and their families besides her daughter. She always said all of Eddie's family is so good to me. We went to Wall to tell her goodbye today and she said I will be back but not in six months. She mentioned again how good Eddie's family was to her.

Our sympathy to you all. Eddie was always such a delight.  He and my dad, Wayne Fairchild, enjoyed many good times in the field of agriculture.  An inspiration to all because of his faith, excitement about life, and adventure to explore the world around him.  It was always a joy to see him and visit.  His presence will be greatly missed in the Philip community.
