Knew Gladys as a cook-years ago-and then to deliver meals to her (she shared a lot of them with her puppies and kitties) she will always be remembered very fondly my deepest sympathy to the family.

I took care of Gladys in the Nursing Home in Rapid City and also was her home health nurse when I was in Philip.  She was so very kind and loving and I heard from her several times when she got home again.  I will always remember how she loved her family and was always having the best to say about everyone.  My love and prayers to all the family.

I am sad to hear of Gladys' passing. She was a remarkable woman. She had such a warm heart for her family, pets and her friends. It was a pleasure to work with Gladys. I learned alot from her in the short 9 years I knew her.  May she rest in peace.  Stacy

You were one of the most important people in my life. You taught me many things as you raised me and made me the person that I am today.
You took care of me when I didn't have anyone else. I'll always remember the breakfasts before school and attempting to wake me up before the bus came. Sometimes you tricked me and told me the bus was coming, but it really wasn't.
You always had a smile on your face and you shared that with your family, friends, and neighbors. You enjoyed cooking and preparing dinners for guests at your home. You were kind and never acted better than anyone else. Everyone enjoyed your presence and your laugh.
I've held onto the letters you've written throughout the years and every word will be remembered forever.
I am sad today because I won't be there when your life will be celebrated.
I am sad today because I won't hear your voice on the phone again.
I am sad today because I won't be receiving any cards in the mail informing me of all the news from S.D.
I am sad today because I will never have a grandma like you again.
The one thing that will keep me strong is that I know you are finally home.
I know you are walking around, smiling, and laughing with your friends and family. They've been waiting for you and I'll be waiting until your arms will hug me when we meet again.
Grandma-You will always be with me. I love you
Your Grandson,
Nicholas

I worked with Gladys years ago at the truck stop in Kadoka.  She was great to work with and we shared alot of laughs.  She was a special lady and will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Gladys was a very special lady. The only thing I looked forward to when I was working out at the truckstop as a dishwasher was knowing I would get to work with her. She taught my everything I needed to know on hard work and how it pays off.  She taught me so much. Know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear family of Gladys. I'm so saddened to hear of your loss. Gladys was such a neat lady. We got acquainted at the time when I'd first moved to the Belvidere area and she bought chicken eggs from my son Jamie. What a beautiful women, she taught me so much about life in the few years I knew her. You are in my prayers, Beth
