I would like to thank all of the people who showed my mom (Lois), my sister Susan, and I, such kindness and sympathy in the loss of Joe. He will be remembered by us all for his devotion to family, dry sense of humor, and a positive reflection of what ranching is all about. He will be greatly missed...

I remember helping Joe brand calves. Everything he did was from the old school and I really appreciated being around that type of mentality when it came to working cattle. Not near enough of his kind left in the world today. He will be missed for his wit and humor also.

We traded ranch help with Joe for years.  We always had an "experience" or a story in the making.  Joe had me help with his bookkeeping for a few years and I was always reminded of the Ace Reid Cartoons.  He would come at meal time with his shoe box full of checks and receipts.  What a guy.  We cherish greatly the times and stories shared with Joe.  Happy Trails til' we meet again

Joe told me the funniest story I have ever heard, one evening at the Ridge in 96.

Joe was a classic...our 9 year old learned some amazing things listening to Joe tell stories in the last couple of years.  I hope that he rests easy after a lifetime of hard work, and that God has lots of warm peach pie waiting...

Our whole family has great memories of helping Joe work cattle & him helping us. From branding time to fall gatherings, to a standoff with a yearling or two year old a 100 yards from a gate. From hot summer days, fall mornings, to a January cattle drive home from the Mable Grover Place at -20 below. What a great gentleman rancher who loved it all from the cows, calves, horses, to watching the grass grow. Joes friendship, honesty, stories & good "coffee" will surely be missed. Our sincere sympathy to the family as Joe takes his final ride to the Great Divide.

I will never forget the great times we had at the Price Family home.   You were always made welcome and there was always treats for us kids.   We all loved to visit.  These memories have lasted all these many years.   I was in the second grade when we lived next to the Prices (about 60 years ago).   Joe will be missed by many.

I will always remember Joe from going bass fishing with my Dad (Guy Carmichael). Joe would always have a cup of coffee and say go knock-em dead. I also remember all the stories of Dad putting up ice in the winter with the Price's
      My prayers are with you.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Joe.  He was a good man.  I always enjoyed listening to the many stories and adventures he would tell of his life.
