In memory of

Terry Lloyd Godfrey

of Wall, South Dakota, died on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in Wall at the age of 56

Terry Lloyd Godfrey passed away January 9, 2024 in Wall, South Dakota at the age of 56 due to natural causes.

Terry was born July 6, 1967 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Catherine Sue (Foight) and Terry Lee Godfrey. He was a master carpenter and took a lot of pride in his work. He loved fishing, drawing, woodworking, hiking, his dog, and causing mischief. He attended and played football for his catholic high school, served in the army, attended college, and spent many of his years traveling and adventuring.

Terry was a rowdy old man but you always knew you could count on him when you needed him. He never had much, but he would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Terry was the person that would stop on the middle of the interstate to check on someone that went into the ditch or stop and pick up hitchhikers and take them as far as he could. He had a good heart, many friends, and will be remembered fondly by people all over the world.

Survivors include three daughters Andrea Nicole Haro and her husband Christian of Casper, Wyoming, Winter Godfrey of Salem, South Dakota, and Paisley Godfrey of Tea; five grandchildren Isaiah James, Adaline Job, and Steffen John Haro, and Alexander Jude and Rowen Lloyd Godfrey; his mother Catherine Sue Frey of Rapid City; a brother Richard Godfrey and his wife Cheryl of Rapid City; a sister Michelle Godfrey of Cheyenne, Wyoming; nieces and nephews Chandler, Chelsea, Tyler, Steven, Patience, Liberty and Justice, Sean Foight, and Tom Foight; two uncles Leslie Foight of Rapid City, and Samuel Foight of Cheyenne, Wyoming; an aunt Michelle Foight of Rapid City; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his father Terry Godfrey; his step-father Rick Frey; and his cousin David Pullins.

Private family services will be held.

Cards and memorials may be sent to P.O. Box 315 Salem, SD 57058.

Private family services will be held.
