Rayma Lea Jensen was born September 7, 1954 in Murdo, South Dakota to Dale S. and Mary H. (Hamar) Jensen.

As a young girl, she lived in Belvidere and attended grade school there. Rayma attended high school in Kadoka, graduating in 1973.

After high school, Rayma cooked at the Badlands Cafe in Kadoka and helped her dad run heavy equipment, building dams in western South Dakota, often running a scraper or bulldozer.

Rayma was united in marriage to Kendrick F. Reimann in February 1975 at St. Peter Lutheran Church and to this union five children were born: Stanley, Rudolph (Rudy), Forrest (Pete), Mary, and Jamie.

Throughout the years, Rayma worked several jobs as a bartender and cook, running her own business at different times throughout the years.

Rayma will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and the steady way she cared for those around her. She was never one to shy away from hard work, whether in the kitchen, on the job, or alongside her family, and she took pride in doing things well. She had a quiet toughness about her, paired with a caring heart, always willing to lend a hand or share what she had. She was never one to turn down a good card game, a cup of coffee, or the daily gossip with her coffee crew—simple moments she truly enjoyed. More than anything, Rayma valued her family, and the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. It meant the most to her. The lessons she taught through her actions—hard work, loyalty, and love—will carry on through her children and grandchildren for generations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Mary; one brother, Duane; father and mother in-law, Rudolph and Margaret Reimann; one brother in-law, Christoph Reimann; one sister-in-law, Martha Ulrich; and one niece, Marcella Krohn.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Kendrick (Rick) of Midland; three sons, Stanley (Vikki) Reimann of Sundance, WY; Rudolph Reimann of Belvidere; Forrest (Wyn) Reimann of Richey, MT; Mary (Beau) Ravellette of Philip; and Jamie Reimann of Midland; nine grandchildren: Alex, ShyAnne, Gage, Taryn, Jazmine, Cassandra, Olivia, Evelyn, and Rowdy; two great-grandchildren, Rhyett and Rowyne; brother-in law, Marvin Ulrich; sister in-laws, Charlene Jensen and JoAnne Reimann and several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers a memorial will be established to St. Peter Lutheran Church and the Midland Senior Citizens. Cards and memorials may be sent to P.O. Box 148 Midland, SD 57552.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. MDT Thursday, April 23, 2026 at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery south of Midland. Everybody is welcome to the church following the service for a time of refreshments and fellowship.
