Bethany Grace Schultz, stillborn baby daughter of Michael “Mike” and Katherine “Katie” (Hiatt) Schultz, went to be with the Lord and past relatives on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her sister Jasmine Hiatt of Philip, paternal grandparents Pastor Glenn and Connie Schultz of Corona, South Dakota, her maternal grandparents Mark and Deborah Hiatt of Pierre; her great-grandparents Evelyn Magarin of Blue Hill, Nebraska, Thelma Hardt of Philip, and Leonard Nieman of Ft. Pierre; two aunts Susan (Mike) Dotson, Becky (Chris) Driver; two uncles Rev. Jonathan (Amy) Schultz, Dan (Melissa) Hiatt; several cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Bethany was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents David and Irene Hiatt, and her paternal great-grandparents Adolph and Hilda Schultz and Gilbert Magarin.
Visitation was held 5-7 p.m. on Monday, July 26, at the Rush Funeral Home in Philip.
Funeral services were held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 27th, at the American Legion Hall in Philip, with Pastor Ray Greenseth.
Interment was at the Masonic Cemetery in Philip.
