Tessa Mary-Lee Brenner was born February 15, 2000 in Rapid City, the daughter of Michelle Brenner and Cody Bendigo.
Tessa enjoyed playing with her older sister and brother. She loved to play with her dolls and have her mommy read to her. She enjoyed spending time on the Bendigo ranch with her father. Tessa loved going to the barn with Cody and had no fear of animals.
She also loved being rocked and read to by Papa Larry and Grandpa Arnold.
She will always be remembered for her happy personality and smiling face.
Survivors include her mother Michelle Brenner of Midland; her father Cody Bendigo of Howes, South Dakota; one "sissy" Terri Craven of Midland; one "brudder" Travis Brenner of Midland; a half-brother Karch Foley of Philip; maternal grandfather Bill Craven of Mission; paternal grandparents Larry and Ursula Bendigo of Howes; maternal great-grandparents Arnold and Virginia Wolden of Philip, a maternal great-grandfather M.C. Johnson of Philip, and maternal great-grandmother Mary Jane Green of Rapid; Michelle’s siblings, Patrick Craven of Quinn, Nina Moore of Rapid City, and Ray Craven of Rapid City; Cody’s siblings, Holly Wolforth and her husband Ken of Java, South Dakota, Lynnette Kurth and her husband Russ of Rapid City, Mark Bendigo and his wife Jaylene of Rapid City, Terri Nelson and her husband Mark of Mobridge, Kim Bendigo of Mt. Vernon, Washington, and Beau Bendigo and his wife Susanne of Rapid City; special friends grandma Donna, auntie Nikki and auntie Tammy; and a host of other special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Tessa was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Janet Craven, paternal great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Isaiah Bendigo, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Garreau, and her paternal aunt Patty Bendigo.
Closed casket visitation was held one hour preceding the services at the Legion Hall on Thursday.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 20, at the American Legion Hall in Philip with Pastor Gary Wahl officiating.
Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery, Philip.
