What a grand lady Laura was!!! I came to know her when I worked at the drug store in Philip and we had so many great visits. She said I was her adopted daughter and I felt so honored. She was in every way a lady and so kind to all who knew her or even to the ones who didn't. I never heard her say and unkind word about anyone. You are in my thoughts and prayers and God Bless all of you!

Grandma Laura was loved by all that knew her.....Back in 1985, my sister, Dianne Parsons and I had just lost our last grandma......and here came Grandma Laura and put her arms around both of us and told us she had room in her heart for 2 more granddaughters. She had been friends with our Grandma Hazel for many years. I'll never forget how she made you feel, and how she could get the little kids to laugh and play with her. I know she is enjoying being reunited with her family and friends. Love ya, Grandma Laura!

I will always remember Laura and how much fun she was. When I was in grade school several girls got to work in the school lunch kitchen and Laura made this time so special and FUN. She always had a smile and made you feel good about yourself. She will be missed by all. Prayers go out to her family but know she is reunited with family and friends, laughing and joking around. That was Laura. Take care.

Hers was certainly a life well led and one to model your own after! I remember my dad visiting several years ago, and he was outside on the bench in front of the grocery store 'resting' with Nick. Along comes Laura, walking with her rolling walker, following hip replacement. She was well into her 90's. She visited with Dad, and really made him feel like Philip was a wonderful place to meet friends. When he told me about her, I shared her age and her recent surgery. He absolutely did not believe me. Never did, I don't think! She was amazingly agile and sharp minded. I am so happy for your family to have had so many years to share with her, and to have kept her in your own care until the end. What an honor you have done her! Rest in Peace and our deepest sympathies and prayers of comfort.

We have been thinking of you since we learned of your Mother not feeling well and especially now of your loss. We knew Laura through her children, who now show her examples of love and kindness to others. We so wish we could be with you today and tomorrow to express our sympathy. Laura lives on, in you.

Lynn, Joni and other family members, you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time as you join together for the memorial service for Grandma Laura. It was a joy to know her, a delightful, perky, happy lady. She has a different address for a time until we all meet together in our eternal home. We are thankful for the many memories. May the Lord's blessing be upon you as you gather this weekend.

Laura's Family,
I remember meeting Laura when as a child I came back to this area with my mom. She was always such a lady in every sense of the word! She just quietly went about her business, but she left a feeling of sincere friendship behind her as she went. What a blessing you have had to have been able to share her life for so many years! Cherish the happy memories that have been created over the years and hold them dear. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in the loss of this great lady.
