"Mother"
A parent,
The one who gave me the gift of life.
A teacher,
Helped teach me right from wrong.
A caregiver,
Takes care of me when I’m unable.
A friend,
Always a should to lean on.
A band-aid,
Helps fix the day to day bumps and bruises.
A shepherd,
Keeping the flock from straying.
A counselor,
Helps clear my head when it’s clouded.
A role model,
Showed me how to care, trust, and love.
Love,
Neal
