Mary Millsteadof Philip, South Dakota, died on Sunday, March 11, 2007

Mary was born in the state of Kansas on April 28, 1924 to Elmer and Lucille Fitzwater. She was the fifth of their eight daughters. After attending Business School she married Ralph "Doc" Millstead on June 21, 1946 in Rapid City South Dakota. After their marriage they lived for a brief time in Philip.
From this union she had two children, Marsha and Michael. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
Survivors include her husband Ralph "Doc" Millstead, a daughter Marsha Millstead Willis, a son, Michael Millstead, grandchildren Jeremy, Sarah, Sam and Katie and two great-grandchildren, Kyler and Dominic. She is also survived by her two sisters, Edythe Hunter and Pauline Garnett as well as son-in-law, David Willis, niece Linda Engelson Stilwell of Kadoka, and a host of valued family and friends.
No visitation is scheduled.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at the Masonic Cemetery in Philip, with Pastor Mark Ford officiating.
