Kyle Whiteof San Diego, California, formerly of Wall, South Dakota, died on Tuesday, February 14, 2006
|
Kyle was born November 25, 1963 at the Quinn Community Hospital in Quinn, South Dakota, the son of Robert W. and Claramae (Campbell) White. He was baptized on January 8, 1964, at First Lutheran Church.
Kyle attended Wall School and graduated in 1982. Kyle developed his unique and benevolent character at an early age. He worked at Wall Drug Store until he graduated and moved to Mesa Arizona with his brother Kevin, where he learned the construction trade. Through due diligence he climbed the ranks to prominent positions within the companies he sought employment. At this time he met his best friend Todd Borelli.
Kyle moved to San Diego in March of 1997. Kyle assumed the title of installation coordinator for a commercial building specialty subcontracting company and within two years was promoted to project manager. He successfully assumed many important responsibilities thus allowing the company to grow to one of the largest in San Diego. Three of their larger recent projects were Wells Fargo High Rise, Qualcomm Building, and Camp Pendleton Military Base, Socom Building. During these years in San Diego he gained the confidence of many as well as the respect and friendship of hundreds. Kyle generously donated his time and funds to the Midway Aircraft Carrier which is now permanently docked in San Diego harbor as a museum.
Kyle’s pride and joy were his niece Amanda and nephew Brandon, who could coax him into doing about anything. His passion for the San Diego Chargers was evident in attending all of their games.
Blessed to have shared his life, his mother Claramae White of Wall, his father Robert White of Apache Junction Arizona; two brothers Kelly White and his wife Amporn of Herndon, Virginia, and Kevin White of Apache Junction Arizona; a niece Amanda and nephew Brandon of Herndon, Virginia; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
Kyle will be greatly missed by family, friends, colleagues and everyone that Kyle has impacted in such a positive way. Kyle was the true definition of a gentleman.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond’s glint on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there, I did not die.
