Homer Allen Leach

of Milesville, South Dakota, died on Tuesday, February 1, 2000
at his home in Milesville at the age of 84

Homer Allen Leach was born March 12, 1915, at Conde, South Dakota, the son of Albert James and Amelia (Ried) Leach.

As a child, he moved with his parents to a homestead on Hudson Flatt, northeast of Milesville, South Dakota.

He grew up on the homestead and received his education in that area.

He and his brother, Wallace, operated the family homestead until Wallace's death in 1973.  Homer continued to operate the homestead until his death.

Grateful for having shared his life are his two sisters, Lucile Schofield and Mildred McFarling, both of Pierre, South Dakota; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Homer was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lloyd and Wallace.
