Frank G. Kleinschmitof Wall, South Dakota, died on Saturday, December 12, 1992

Frank George Kleinschmit was born December 4, 1907, at Menominee, Nebraska, to Henry and Mary (Kast) Kleinschmit.
As a child he moved with his parents to a farm near Paxton, South Dakota, which is in the Gregory area. He grew up and received his education in that area. In 1932 he moved to the Wall, South Dakota, area where he worked at various jobs.
Frank was united in marriage to Shandon L. Wood on March 11, 1935. They made their home in the Wall area all their married life.
He owned and operated a construction company, building roads and earth dams in western South Dakota. In the early 1980s, because of health reasons, he retired. In 1983 they moved into the Prairie Village Apartments where they have continued to reside.
Frank was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Wall.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Shandon Kleinschmit, of Wall; one son, Doug Kleinschmit and his wife, Lola, of Wall; two daughters, Luann Spence of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Mona Rae (Mrs. Terry) Shellhorn of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harold Kleinschmit of Wall, Lawrence Kleinschmit of Salem, Oregon, and Ralph Kleinschmit of Mt. Angel, Oregon; one sister, Lucy Brotsky of Brookings, South Dakota; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Paul, Pete and Joe Kleinschmit; and two sisters, Rosina Bunker and Elizabeth Messman.
