Frances Donner was born December 1, 1910, in St. Helena, Nebraska to Jacob N. and Elizabeth (Meirose) Donner.

At the age of two she moved with her parents to a farm 6 miles north of Crofton, Nebraska where they lived until moving to a farm north of Wall, South Dakota in 1920.  She grew up in the Wall area where she received her education.  After attending Notre Dame Jr. College in Mitchell, South Dakota, she taught rural school for two years north of Wall.

Frances was united in marriage to Homer H. Pascoe on May 10, 1932, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wall, South Dakota.

They lived in and around Wall for one and a half years before moving onto the Gail Lewis, or also known as the Frank Parkin farm, located about 15 miles north of Wall.  They lived there until 1940 when they purchased a ranch 3 miles west of Wall which they operated until 1973.

Frances taught rural school from 1954 until 1975.  They moved into the Prairie Village Apartments where they were care takers from 1975 until 1983 when they retired.

Her husband preceded her in death on October 31, 1988.  She then continued to make her home in the Prairie Village Apartments until her death.

Frances was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church where she also played the church organ for many years.
