Albert R. Schollof Kadoka, South Dakota, died on Tuesday, January 14, 1992

Albert R. Scholl was born August 29, 1919, at Gregory, South Dakota, to Peter F. and Esther (Rittel) Scholl.
When he was twelve years of age, he moved with his parents to a ranch four miles south of Wanblee, South Dakota. He grew up there and attended Wanblee High School.
Albert was united in marriage to Mildred E. Embree on June 28, 1940, at Rushville, Nebraska. They moved to Kadoka in 1941 where Albert Worked for the South Dakota Highway Department.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, serving for three years in the Philippine Islands at Manila. After his discharge he returned to Kadoka where he again worked for the South Dakota Department of Highways for eight years. In 1951 he became employed as a truck driver for Barber Transportation Company of Rapid City. He retired on June 26, 1981, after 30 years and one month of service.
The Scholls continued to make their home in Kadoka.
Albert was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Post #27, both of Kadoka
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Mildred Scholl of Kadoka; two sons, Larry K. Scholl of Stacy, Minnesota, and Raymond Scholl of Rapid City; four grandchildren, Blaine, Brent, Brad and Jody Scholl; two great-grandchildren, Samantha Joan Scholl and Katlyn Scholl; one brother, Sol Scholl of Payson, Arizona; two sisters, Belva Searby of Kadoka, and Goldie Carson of Piedmont, South Dakota; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
