William J. Clarkof Quinn, South Dakota, died on Sunday, January 5, 1992

William J. Clark, better known as "Bill" to his family and friends, was born December 20, 1935, at Wall, South Dakota, to William E. and Myrtle (Johnson) Clark.
He grew up in the Wall area and graduated from Wall High School in 1955.
Bill was united in marriage to Kathryn Sieler on June 7, 1956, in Wall.
They made their home on the Virgil Horton Ranch, where he worked as a ranch hand, south of Quinn, South Dakota. In 1957 they moved to the Emil Sieler farm-ranch northeast of Quinn, where they presently resided.
Bill was a member of the First Lutheran Church where he was serving as finance chairman. He was a member of the South Dakota Wheatgrowers, Inc, the Pennington County Crop Improvement Association, the South Dakota Stockgrowers Association, and the Western South Dakota Buckaroos. He was Peno Township supervisor for several years and served as Eastern Pennington County Conservation District supervisor for several years.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Kathyrn Clark of Quinn; two sons, Jeff Clark of Wall, and Randy Clark of Quinn; one daughter, Laurie (Mrs. Wade) Tysdal of Valentine, Nebraska; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret "Peggy" (Mrs. George) Hauk of Cottonwood, South Dakota; Evelyn (Mrs. Charles) Rush of Anchorage, Alaska; Patricia (Mrs. Wyman) Schmidt of Bozeman, Montana; and Jean "Tillie" (Mrs. Lanny) Myers of San Jose, California; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Clark.
