Emilie Geigle was born March 15, 1910, on a farm north of Quinn, South Dakota, to Jacob and Dorothea Geigle. She grew up in that area and attended Rainy Creek Public School. In 1947 she moved with her parents to Wall.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, and the Wall Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two brothers, Otto Geigle of Wall, and Jacob Geigle of Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Johanna Eisenbraun of Wall, and Bertha Denke of Creighton; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Adolph, and a sister, Rosina.
A memorial has been established.
