Jerome T. Nemec was born September 4, 1917, in Stanley County where he grew up, attended school, and farmed all his life.
He was united in marriage to Henderena "Rena" DeYoung on May 24, 1939, at Midland.
Jerome was a director of the Midland Co-Op for a number of years and a member of St. William's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rena, of Midland; three sons, Richard and Jerry of Midland, and Larry of Pierre; two daughters, Patty Henderson of Murdo, and Marjorie Iwan of Midland; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; two brothers, Edward and Ernest Nemec of Midland; one sister, Ellen Tolton of Fort Pierre; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
A memorial has been established.
