Jim Johnson

of Quinn, South Dakota, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2026
at his home north of Quinn at the age of 75

Survivors include his wife Jean of Quinn; three daughters Jana (Craig) Bielmaier of Wall, Jackie (Thor) Roseth of Philip, and Jennifer (Dalton) Richter of Quinn; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Bonnie Kjerstad.

I am so saddened by this news. I don’t remember a time in my childhood that Jim wasn’t there. I have many memories of him coming over to help babysit which may or may not have ended up with rearranging the living room for sock fights.

Oh Jean, Jana, Jackie & Jennifer I am so very sorry to hear about Jim. He was such a great guy, I always enjoyed bantering back & forth with him. He will be missed by so very many people.
