Clyde "Sonny" Shull, Jr.

of Wall, South Dakota, died on Tuesday, March 12, 1985
near Quinn, South Dakota at the age of 56

Clyde "Sonny" Edward Shull, Jr. was born January 24, 1929, in Scenic, South Dakota, to Clyde and Bessie (McNeil) Shull. He grew up and received his education in the Scenic and Wall areas. He was employed as a farm and ranch hand.

Sonny served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean War. After his discharge he returned to the Wall area.

He was united in marriage to Kathleen O'Neill on June 19, 1954 in Wall, South Dakota. Sonny worked for many farmers and ranchers in the Wall area.

He was united in marriage to Eva Lanning Lefler on December 31, 1973 in Rapid City, South Dakota. They continued to make their home in Wall.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Shull, of Wall; six sons, Tom Shull, Wayne Shull, and Mike Shull all of Wall, and Roy Shull of Chadron, Nebraska, and Tim Shull and Roger Shull both of Rapid City, South Dakota; two daughters, Jean (John) Hindman of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, and Mary Shull of Fairbanks, Alaska; one step-son, Bruce Lefler of Laurel, Montana; three step-daughters, Marilyn Minch of Cozad, Nebraska, Karolyn (Craig) Christner of Cozad, Nebraska, and Robert Lefler of Wall; 15 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren; five sisters, Dee Dee Green, June Vandyke, Lavonne Fowler, and Ella Mae Hannon all of Lakewood, California, and Margie Galbraith of Rapid City; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, James Shull; his parents; two brothers, Jackie Hull and Wayne Shull; and one sister, Jean Shull
