Kristina Sieler

of Rapid City, South Dakota, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2026
at Hospice of the Hills in Rapid City at the age of 54

Kristina Kay Sieler was born February 17, 1972, in Rapid City SD, to proud parents, Dennis and Kay Sieler. She eagerly met her big brother Todd and later by younger brother Michael.

Kristina lived at home until the age of 5 when she then moved to the Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

At age 7, she left Sioux Falls for the Black Hills, and after several facilities she found her home at Black Hills Works in Rapid City.

Kristina was a regular performer in the Black Hills Works Dance recitals held at the Fine Arts Theater in Rapid City.

While Kristina viewed life through the lens of cerebral palsy, she enjoyed country music, rodeos, McDonalds ice cream, outdoor picnics, events with fellow group home residents, and truly enjoyed life to the fullest.

She is survived by her parents Dennis and Kay Sieler; brothers Todd Sieler and Michael (Angel) Sieler; nephew Edwin; niece Rita; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Edwin and Bertha Sieler, and maternal grandparents Ruben and Ester Thorvaldson.

Kristina will be mourned by many.

Memorials and donations can be made to Black Hills Works in honor of Kristina.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at First Lutheran Church in Wall with Pastor Lucas Edwards officiating.

Interment will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Quinn.
