When Roy was working at the Midland elevator and my dad Calvin was there for business he would ask for help to off load a truck load the trucks and he would award us with either and soda pop or an old comics. We both thought that was great. I still have all the old comic books he gave us. He was a great hard working man. We will all miss him. him.

Very sad to hear this news but the suffering is gone and he is at peace. Such a vital part of the Midland community and very much appreciated. There is a saying that is takes a village to raise kids and he was definitely a part of that village!! Proud to call him a friend and know his family. Thinking of you, Carol. Prayers

Carol and the Family - I am so sorry for your loss. Roy was an important part of the Midland community for as long as I can remember. What a great man.. always a smile and never to busy to say “ Hello.” Whether it was in the elevator or the hardware store, he always made you feel like your business was appreciated and if he asked how you were doing, it wasn’t just a formality, it was because he cared. I’m keeping you in my prayers.
